WAKESPORTS Halloween shred

Wakesports will host a Halloween SHRED costume party at the Carlsbad Lagoon on Saturday, October 23rd.  The fun will kick off around 10 and continue until sunset. The Local West Side Riders will be on hand to shred and spread the stoke.  Just like the Freeride Fridays in the summer, $25 will get you some pulls, along with some of Greasy Gregs’s famous barbeque. There will also be games taking place all day on the beach to keep everyone entertained.  Bring your own costume or buy one from the Wakesports on the lagoon and ride for free! Heyyyy Everyone!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out this last weekend! Our Memorial Day Community Festival was a great way to start off the summer. We are so excited for this summer that we can’t wait any longer, so we’re starting up our Freeride Fridays earlier this year! So come join the party each Friday 3pm until dusk!

 

 

 

 

FREERIDE starts NEXT WEEK!!!
carlsbad lagoonWe know everyone is missing their stylish pink bracelets, so with that- Freeride Friday will start next week! June 5th will be our first official, FREERIDE FRIDAY! For those who are new, our Freeride includes a wakeboard ride (on any of our brand new 2009 Liquid Force or Ronix gear!) and a BBQ for only 25 dollars! This year we will also have the support of some of the industries top brands including: Oneill, Spy, Monster Energy Drinks and of course, our guys from Wakesports. Like every year, we make every gathering epic. So come check it out!

KIDS CAMPS?!
With high demand- our Youth Camps are back this year too!

This summer we are planning to do everything we offer here at the lagoon: wakeboarding, waterskiing, canoeing, kayaking, peddle boating, wave runners, stand up paddle boarding, aqua cycles, oceanography, beach games, a BBQ with awards and more! We are making it a point to go above and beyond for this year’s group of kids!
 
Each camp is customized and runs on the demands of the kids. Every activity is lead by well-trained and knowledgeable instructors providing the perfect opportunity for people of every level to optimize their experience.
   

Camps will be offered the following weeks in the summer of 2009:
June 29th – July 3rd
July 6th – July 10th
July 13th – July 17th
July 20th – July 24th
July 27th – July 31st
 
The cost for each camper is $500; however we offer a discount to siblings! Each additional sibling is $450, but its money well spent! If you have any questions or concerns, please come in and visit us. We would love to meet you and show you the wide array of activities we offer!

San Diego, Ca – The world’s best riders will descend on the birthplace of modern wakeboarding to display the current state of modern rail shredding. For the third year, the Fred Hall Fishing, Tackle and Boat Show in Del Mar will host the Wakesports Unlimited Invitational Rail Jam on March 25-29, 2009.

Many of the sport’s brightest stars will be on hand to participate. Riders like two-time WakeBoarding Magazine Rail Master Award winner Shane Bonifay, 2005 Pro Tour Rookie of the Year Kevin Henshaw, 2008 Best Trick of the Year winner Chad Sharpe and boardsports legends Collin Harrington and Shawn Watson will be joined by other world-class riders. “The Wakesports Unlimited ‘Invitational Rail Jam’ has grown every year both in terms of rider participation and in the quality of the rails on site,” said Wakesports Unlimited owner Josh Cantor. “We’ve collaborated with the riders to make a course that’s both challenging to them and offers a great experience for the crowd on hand. Southern California has embraced this rail jam for the last three years and we expect this year’s Invitational Rail Jam to be the most spectacular production the San Diego area has ever seen. There will be multiple rail options, the level of risk will be higher than ever and the boys said they’re ready to shred. This is guaranteed to be the best show we’re ever done.”

The Wakesports Unlimited Invitational Rail Jam is the only scheduled event showcasing the sport’s top talent in 2009, so don’t miss this unique opportunity.
