El Cap This Sunday 4/14

Postby DaxxRuckus » Wed Apr 10, 2013 5:01 pm

We're taking the Calabria out to El Cap on Sunday for the first rip of the season. So far it looks like we've got 6 people confirmed (me/evan/dani/whitney/kelli +1) and I have 2 others that are uncomfirmed. We can probably take 1 or 2 more if anyone else is interested.

Any other boats going to head out there with us????

I'm posting this and other events on the official WBSD events calendar (http://www.wakeboardsd.net/events). I am working on a system where people can register their boat and number of spots and post it on the calendar where others can register for trips like this. Still a work in progress.

Anyway, who's ready to get started!?!??!?!

Hey welcome. How did you find us?

We may have another spot open on the boat on sunday. Probably heading out early around 7am.

Hey sorry for the delayed response. I'm trying to figure out if i'll have a ride home from school tomorrow. I'm off at UCSD. If I do I'll most likely be in. I won't be able to commit till tomorrow though so if the spot fills up no problem but i'll get back to you!

Just checked the El Cap website, apparently fees are $7 to launch the boat + $10 per adult.

It keeps going on up!

We had quite a few people bail on going to the lake tomorrow. There are only 4 of us going now. if anyone wants to come with us and just throw in for gas money, you are more than welcome to come for some pulls.

Give me a call tonight until midnight, or tomorrow morning. We are leaving La Mesa around 7:30, going to launch at El cap by 8/30 or so.

I wanted to go but looked online and saw 54 water, and a high of 63. Our boat does not have a heater so it was out of the question. How was it?
